Valleri works on gender and sexuality, building the capacities of young women and girls in rural Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand. She amplifies the voices of structurally excluded communities, including those with disabilities, and promotes inclusive leadership by bridging feminist and queer perspectives. She is involved in the Sexuality, Gender, and Rights Institute (Hindi), SELF Academy and leads the Roshni Programme, which trains young community leaders in constitutional values through action projects.
She holds a master’s in Rural Development from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and an MPhil in Development Practice from Ambedkar University. She is engaged in national and international coalitions on safe abortion access and early marriage, with a strong commitment to social justice and equality.
