Advisor – SRI & HRC Process
Sunita works at the intersection of sexuality, gender, feminist leadership, and human rights, with over 27 years of experience in grassroots activism, capacity-building, movement support, national and international advocacy, and organisational development. After spending 16 years at CREA, she now serves as an advisor, having contributed to strengthening organisational processes and expanding CREA’s footprint across India, South Asia, East Africa, MENA, Central Asia, and globally.
She is deeply involved in progressive social movements and works with coalitions and consortiums to ensure their transformative and relevant impact. Sunita holds a master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Delhi. A sports enthusiast, she is a die-hard fan of the Arsenal women’s and men’s football teams. She also enjoys watching films and TV series and travelling.
