Anchor – Feminist Responses to Anti-Rights, Anti-Gender Opposition

Rupsa leads CREA’s efforts to address anti-gender mobilisations. She currently works as an independent consultant and has worked extensively on issues of gender, sexuality, and rights for over three decades. She also brings experience in advancing cross-movement allyship with various movements.

With over three decades of experience in gender, sexuality, and rights, Rupsa previously worked with CREA for nine years as the Director of Programmes and Innovation. She has also worked with the Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE) in the US and the International Planned Parenthood Federation – South Asia Regional Office. Rupsa holds an MA in Development Studies from the Institute of Social Studies, The Hague, Netherlands.
